How Quotes Work

Quote, Shipping, And Returns

HPFS reviews custom local operations and fabrication requests before agreeing to work. Each quote is based on the actual problem, use, materials, and handoff needed.

Inquiries Are Not Orders

This site has no cart, checkout, or online payment. Sending an inquiry does not book a job or authorize a charge. HPFS reviews each request and may quote, revise, schedule, waitlist, or decline it.

What Helps A Quote

  • Photos, sketches, dimensions, the broken part, or a short description of the workflow snag when available.
  • Use environment, expected load, heat, wear, chemical exposure, and fit requirements.
  • Quantity, desired timing, material preference, and whether the fix is a one-off, prototype, repeatable item, or broader local workflow.

Before Work Starts

HPFS and the customer agree in writing on the scope, materials, price, expected timing, and pickup or other handoff before work begins. The written quote also identifies any walkthrough, prototype, test fit, or revision included in that work.

Pickup, Delivery, And Shipping

Pickup, local delivery, or shipping is available only when HPFS agrees to it for a particular job. The written quote identifies the handoff method and any related cost or timing. No shipping method or delivery date is promised by submitting an inquiry.

Returns And Rework

Custom work can need fit checks or changes. Any prototype, rework, or return arrangement is specific to the job and stated in writing if agreed. If a concern arises, contact HPFS with the job details so the agreed scope and the part or service can be reviewed.

Prototype Reality

Some custom fixes need a walkthrough, test print, fit check, or design change before a final version is useful. HPFS will identify those steps in the written quote when they are part of the job.
